Thanks to open source content management systems, most websites have a longer lifespan than ever. Websites that can update their plug-ins and themes can adapt better to the rapid changes and upgrades of any internet browser out there and this also includes platform changes. This means that if your website went online in, say, 2010, it would most probably still be online today. The question is, is this a good thing though?

Developers of plug-ins update their software constantly and websites that are close to ten years old will have a hard time keeping up and this will render such a website inaccessible, it simply cannot adapt to the changes and it will go out of the gene-pool, Darwin style. However, this is actually a good thing because this will pave way for a newer website that is more compatible with the latest upgrades of everything that’s needed to keep a website up and, with the advent of the internet; this is something that’s increasingly become a responsibility for business owners everywhere.

Besides, the longer the core files or themes float out there in cyber-space, the more the basement dwelling hackers will have the time to learn their codes and exploit them for whatever nefarious reasons they may have. The less your website is updated, the more you fall into the mercy of these cyber bandits.

Let’s say you’re an owner who’s had a website for 7 years. So, you and your website had gone through a lot, overcame compatibility issues of Ipad, Iphone and Android devices, survived a debacle from flash and went thru many updates with Java. Your website may still be standing after that, but it will barely resemble its original design. The long battles have taken the toll on your website and the battle scars have worn it down. Let’s face it; your old buddy needs to retire.

This is where we come in. If you have been consistently updating your plug-ins and made the necessary changes to your website along the years, and perhaps you’re still introducing new products online and keep customers engaged and informed, then Google will be able to pick this up and will know that your company and your website is still active. It will be now then a matter of transferring our files and content from an outdated framework to an updated one. Your website will be getting an overhaul. It will be reincarnated and reborn into something way better than its former self.  It will be reworked from the inside out, back to front so it will fit the current things that make it run as well as the current aesthetics of the time.

Check out our website and see what we can do for you. We have been in the business for many years and have satisfied many clients from companies that are reputable. Our rates are affordable but our team of experts and web designers are on top of their game and will make sure that your website won’t go the way of the dodo.
